
Plate handling seems to be better just now and I still want to perfect that essential skill. Tat said it doesn't have to be perfect as long it's stable and the food won't slide off, it's fine. However, when guests are seeing you carrying the plates it has to be perfect. What's the use seh, when customers see then you do properly when they don't you slack abit alamak. Then I see some of my colleagues didn't carry their plates straight so meaning they are a lil slanted. How like thaattttt. I must aim to perfect this skill omg it's damn hard when you are not looking in the mirror to make adjustments.
I was happy when I was to observe and assist the operations in the private dining rooms. There were a lot of cock ups; utensils placement, serving plates and many more. It's not that I'm not confident or what, I was just urgh I don't know how to say ah but it's a freaking prestige restaurant and I can't afford to make a mistake so everything has to be precise. I was slow in everything I do and it's not perfect zzzz.
